Serafina Corsello (13 maggio 1933 - 20 febbraio 2009) Medico Chirurgo, Specialista in Neuro-Psichiatria ed in Medicina Ortomolecolare, é stata Socio emerito e docente dell'American College for The Advancement of Medicine e Presidente Onorario della Società Italiana Terapia Chelante. Dal 1994 ha portato la Sua Preziosa Esperienza al Gruppo Italiano di Terapia Chelante dove ha svolto in qualità di insegnante Corsi formativi alla Terapia Chelante per dieci anni, dando poi a noi tutti una continua disponibilità. Ricordo ancora con grande emozione la Sua eccezionale accoglienza quando mi recai negli Stati Uniti. Ha vissuto e lavorato per quarant'anni a New York, dove ha fondato e diretto i Corsello's Centers, centri di Medicina Ortomolecolare, Nutrizionale e Funzionale, rivolti a terapie anti aging. Nel 1999 ha pubblicato il libro “Ageless Woman” (la donna senza età), frutto della sua esperienza nel campo delle terapie antinvecchiamento. Una vera pioniere della medicina funzionale. Un Medico straordinario con una rara dote quella  di  saper  insegnare… disinteressatamente. IncontarLa é stato, oltre che un grande Privilegio, un vero e proprio fulmine a ciel sereno che ha infranto ogni schema rigido di concepire la Medicina ... e la Vita. Con il Suo gran sapere e con la Sua infinita umanità e generosità ha saputo trasferire in me tutto il suo entusiasmo e gran parte dal Suo immenso Sapere... Tutti i momenti trascorsi con Lei sono stati sempre momenti di grande Gioia... Ogni volta che ci incontravamo erano momenti di vera Emozione. Soprattutto quando veniva a trovarmi nella mia Ascoli, dove abbiamo vissuto giorni di vera Festa in Famiglia. Lei è la madrina di battesimo di mio figlio Matteo Maria, ma soprattutto con mia figlia Alice Sofia ha instaurato un rapporto straordinario, un vero e proprio legame indissolubile. E' proprio con questo senso di Festa e non di lutto che sono qui a trasmettere quello che avrebbe dovuto far Lei: comunicare il Suo prezioso messaggio. Prendo un testimone importante sperando di poterlo sostenere e lanciare ogni volta che mi sarà chiesto. Non finirò mai di imparare, continuando a studiare le Sue metodiche, ricordando le Sue parole, ripassando le Sue presentazioni e leggendo i Suoi Libri, l'arte della Medicina, della vera Medicina, quella con la EMME Maiuscola che si fonda sulla frase di Paracelso che afferma che:

IL PRINCIPIO FONDAMENTALE

DELLA MEDICINA E' L'AMORE!

Serafina Corsello,  MD, FACAM (Fellow of the American College of Advancement in Medicine), vive e lavora da più di quarantanni a New York, dove ha fondato e diretto i Corsello’s Centers, centri di Medicina Ortomolecolare, Nutrizionale e Funzionale, rivolti a terapie anti aging. Attualmente è la Direttrice Esecutiva del Centro Medico per il Benessere a Manhattan e dedica gran parte del suo tempo all’insegnamento in tale centro, in USA ed all’estero.
La Dr.ssa Corsello é stata uno dei 25 medici in USA che nel 1992 ha partecipato alla formazione dell'Ufficio di Medicina Alternativa nell’ambito dell’Istituto Nazionale della Salute.

1962   Si laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia in Italia a Roma presso l’Università degli studi  “la Sapienza”

1962   Si abilita alla professione negli Stati Uniti

1970   Negli Stati Uniti  si specializza in Neuropsichiatria

Dal 1970 al 1981 – Praticantato in Psichiatria

Dal 1970 al 1984 – Frequentazione dell’Ospedale Medico di Manhattan N.Y.

Dal 1970 al 1973 – Consulente Psichiatrico presso il Centro per bambini Sagamore, Manhattan N.Y

Dal 1971 al 1973 – Consulente Psichiatrico presso la Melville House, Melville N.Y.

Dal 1971 1l 1973 – Direttore Clinico presso il Centro di Salute Mentale Pederson-Krag, Manhattan N.Y.
